World Book Day
World Book Day at D’Eyncourt Primary 2022
We have had a wonderful day in school celebrating World Book Day 2022. The whole school community had the opportunity to spend the day celebrating reading and all things books.
The children looked fabulous in their costumes and pyjamas! We had a real spread of costumes – shop-bought and handmade creations – both of which looked amazing! The staff always like to get involved on World Book Day. Check out the picture of them!
Over the day, the children completed different reading activities including designing book covers, talking about favourite books, answering questions in a Book Quiz hosted by Wolverhampton Library Service, rapping the WBD rap and they even had the chance to visit the book fair in school.
