School Day
Please find below the typical school day for pupils here at D’Eyncourt Primary School. School doors open at 8.40 am for children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
8.40 am – 9.00 am – Registration activities
Assembly
9.00 am – 9.15 am – We have an assembly every morning by a different member of staff with a special BEST Award assembly on a Friday.
Lessons
9:15 am –12.15 pm/12.30 pm – 3 lessons, including English, Reading and Maths with a 15 minute break.
Lunch
EYFS & KS1 – 12.15 pm – 1.00 pm
KS2 – 12.30-1.15 pm
Lessons
1.15 pm – 3.10 pm – We return from lunch for a further 2 lessons.
Home time
3.10 pm (Reception, Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2)
Total Time: 32.5 hours per week
*All children are released at the end of the day only to adults known to staff – should your arrangements change for any reason, please inform the office.
*If your child is in Years 5 and 6 and you would like them to walk home alone, please write a letter giving permission for your child to walk home alone.
* We have a Breakfast Club open from 8.00am each morning and an After School Club available till 5.50pm (payable).
*Any child not collected by 3.20pm may be allocated a place in our After-School Club – there is a charge for this service.
