D’Eyncourt Raises an Incredible £3,107 for Dementia UK
We are incredibly proud to share a fantastic achievement from the D’Eyncourt community.
Last week, our pupils took part in Manny’s Mile, an inspiring fundraising challenge led by Manny Singh Kang in support of Dementia UK. Manny set himself the remarkable challenge of running one mile in 50 schools across Wolverhampton in just two days, and we were delighted to be one of the schools taking part.
Our children thoroughly enjoyed joining Manny for his mile, cheering one another on and embracing the opportunity to make a difference. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to reinforce the importance of compassion, community and supporting others.
Most importantly, thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, staff and wider school community, D’Eyncourt raised an amazing £3,107 for Dementia UK.
We were also delighted to learn that D’Eyncourt finished third out of all 50 participating schools for the amount raised, an achievement of which we are extremely proud.
A huge thank you goes to Manny for including D’Eyncourt in such an inspirational challenge, and to every pupil, family and member of staff who donated, supported, cheered and took part.
This was a wonderful example of our school community coming together around our values and showing our children that, collectively, they really can make a difference.
£3,107 raised. 3rd out of 50 schools. One very proud D’Eyncourt community!
