Year 1 Phonics Meeting
Thank you to all parents who attended our Year 1 Phonics meeting. We hope you found it useful. Don’t forget this year the Phonics Screening will take place week commencing Monday 10th June 2019.
The aim of the phonics check is to ensure all children are able to read by the end of Year 2. The screening only tests a child’s ability to decode words. If you require any further details, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher or Mrs Flannery (EYFS/KS1 phase leader).
