KS1 National Curriculum 2019

The new curriculum your child is being taught is more rigorous and sets very high expectations which all schools have to work hard to meet.
The tests will provide information about how your child is progressing, compared to children the same age nationally. In the Summer of 2016, Key Stage 1 children sat the new SATs for the first time. They are to ensure every child reaches their full potential. Children will now be described as working towards, working at and working at greater depth.
Old national curriculum levels have now been abolished.
